My pond / iguana cage habitat

Putting them In!:

Jolie decided to carry Leener. Although he is older than Lillie, he is decidedly smaller. He never developed the long tail that is typical, we figure he is just from a different genus that doesn't get any bigger.

Leener is approximately 5 years old, and about 3 feet long. Like most of our lizards, he is not especially friendly, or fond of being held.

We have so many animals in our house, that we don't handle our Iguanas regularly (or hardly at all). Which is what it takes to keep an iguana friendly. They don't hate us, as we bring them food all the time, they'd just as soon not be picked up, though..

Leener's big moment, going into the new habitat..

That was about the only time he was in his house that I spent so much time building, for about 3 days. For some reason, he just didn't seem to make his way in there.

Lillie is more the 'typical' green iguana. She is about 4 years old, and about 4 feet plus. She was smaller than Leener when we first got her. The best way of transporting her is by covering her with a towel, so she can't thrash around.

Like Leener, she really isn't all that bad. As a matter of fact, you can SLOWLY reach over to her and pat her head, but don't try much more than that! Bringing her food is always OK, though..
